Napoleon Dynamite

This four-week series is based on the movie Napoleon Dynamite. As you move through the lessons you will learn about 1) seeing through God's eyes; 2) avoiding sexual immorality; 3) being a friend and respecting ourselves; and 4) being transformed through Christ.

Lesson 1: Snacking with Sinners--This lesson will help teens understand that Jesus' understanding of popularity and success differs from the world's understanding. (Matthew 9:9-13)

Lesson 2: Safe Surfing--This lesson will help teens understand that God desires for them to avoid sexual immorality, and to prepare them for the temptation that exists on the Internet. (Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)

Lesson 3: Life Lessons from Pastor Rex--This lesson will help teens understand the importance of having friends, a good reputation, and self-respect.( Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Proverbs 22:1; Psalm 139:13-16)

Lesson 4: A New Creation--This lesson will help teens understand that meeting Jesus Christ has a dramatic, transforming effect on a person's life. (Mark 1:15; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
