Product Summary

Your students need to be well-equipped lights in their dark worlds. They need to know what they believe and why they believe it. Teens who don't know the basics are easily pulled away from their faith by others who challenge their faith o who offer them an imitation Christianity. So take a journey with your students back to the basics of who and what Christianity is all about. As you move from lesson to lesson, you will learn 1) God has a lot to say to us about finding salvation and living our lives for Him; 2) why it's important for a Christian to be involved with his or her church; 3) having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing we'll ever do; and 4) the special role the Holy Spirit plays in our lives.

Lesson 1: The God Book--The Bible is God' Word to all humans. In it we can discover truth and wisdom for finding salvation and life in Him. (2 Timothy 1:5; 3:14-17; Hebrews 4:12-13; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; James 1:22-24; John 1:1-2, 14; Psalm 119:105-12)

Lesson 2: The Community of Believers--Lifelong involvement with a community of believers is vital to a Christian's continued spiritual growth. (Ephesians 2:19-22; 4:11-16; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12-16)

Lesson 3: Who Jesus Is--Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ means knowing who He is and allowing Him to change who we are.

Lesson 4: Who Is the Holy Spirit?--Present since the creation of the world, the Holy Spirit is God's Spirit at work in our lives, providing us with guidance and help for daily life.
