The Last Samurai

This four-week series on The Last Samurai is about love and grace. As you move through the lessons you will learn about 1) being the salt and light of the earth; 2) loving your enemies; 3) being Christ's ambassador; and 4) showing grace to those who hurt you.

Lesson 1: A Stranger Among Us--This lesson's goal is to help teens understand that non-believers often need to accept Christians as individuals and as a community before they are willing to accept Christian beliefs. (Matthew 5:13-16)

Lesson 2: Winning Him Over with Love--This lesson's goal is to help teens understand that by loving others, even those who have hurt them, the world will come to a greater understanding of the love of God. (Luke 6:27-36)

Lesson 3: Beginning to Care--This lesson's goal is to help teens understand that they can evangelize every moment of every day-by simply living a good life and setting a good example of how a follower of Christ should live. (1 Thessalonians 4:9-12)

Lesson 4: A Night of Peace--This lesson's goal is to help teens understand that God can use the way we love others, especially those who have hurt us, to inspire transformation in their lives. (Romans 12:9-21)
